History
Founded in 1946 in Natchez, MS, Reagan Tool Company was a machine shop
servicing oilfield components such as drill pipe, draw works, and steam boilers.
The business soon expanded to become the exclusive dealer for Waukesha engines
in Mississippi.
With hard work and dedication, Reagan continued its expansion as it evolved to
Reagan Equipment Company and gained more territory as a Waukesha distributor,
relocating to Jefferson, LA, just outside of New Orleans.
The Reagan formula for success was simple: provide a quality product, back it
with superior service, and create a strong branch network that can efficiently
and effectively service clients.
Through the 60s and 70s, Reagan Equipment developed an extensive branch network
and began to set the standard for fabricating power packages in the oilfield
industry. As the industry grew, Reagan also renewed its commitment to quality
service, providing factory trained service personnel 24 hours a day, 7 days a
week.
In the 1980s, to more effectively service clients in the gas compression
markets, American Warrior was spun-off from Reagan. With Warrior now focusing on
Gas Compression, Reagan Equipment was able to bring innovative solutions to
power packaging both on and offshore.
Throughout the 20th and into the 21st century, Reagan has become the total
solution provider for power packaging needs. From maintenance contracts to
project management, from engineering to custom controls, Reagan is and will
continue to be the total solution provider.
